FEATURES OF THE ELECTRONIC UNIVERSITY

Abstract


The paper considers the current state of development of a network society, defines goals and principles. It is shown that in such a society open education, which includes open admission, open as free, open educational resources and open educational practice, and the networking society that builds the university, will play an important role. On the basis of the analysis, the features of the e-university and the conditions for its creation are provided. The given types of distance courses for different stages of learning and the role of xMOOC and cMOOC. Considered the flexible system of organization of educational process for different levels of those who learn using blended learning, micro learning, the importance of the personal learning network and the portfolio of the student is shown. Based on the work of the Research Laboratory of Distance Learning NTU "KhPI" shows that experience in using basic technologies is sufficient for the development of an electronic university, but much attention should be paid to staffing.
