MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOL LEADER’S ICT COMPETENCE

The article devoted to the issue of providing computer literacy and implementation of information and communication technologies in the management practice of institution of secondary education. Presented and analyzed the results of school leaders self-analysis according to the developing their skills on the Internet. It is noted that the Ukrainian society has a requirement to school leaders to improve their information and communication competences, extend and update ICT knowledge, develop skills of orientation in information space and using information products and services in their work. It is noted that school leaders become confident computer users and realize the opportunities provided by the Internet for administrative, pedagogical and leisure activities. The author provides recommendations for developing and teaching a number of courses to the needs of school leader’s development their Internet skills.
