The article highlights the importance of the information and educational platform as well as the educational environment of the pedagogical university for training teaching professionals in distance learning. The article analyzes the information and educational platform of the institution and outlines the ways to use it to implement effective teaching, research, and independent learning in the pedagogical university. Much attention is paid to the use of electronic teaching systems, electronic educational resources, and cloud services in independent work of students who do distance learning.
