PROJECT ACTIVITY IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION: ESSENCE, FEATURES AND PROSPECTS OF IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract

The article examines the features of using project activities in the vocational education system as one of the effective pedagogical approaches to the formation of modern professional competencies of education seekers. The scientific approaches to determining the essence of project learning, its didactic capabilities and role in the development of an active, independent and creative personality of a future specialist are analyzed. The main principles of organizing project activities in the educational process are determined, in particular the principles of practical orientation, interdisciplinarity, independence of education seekers, cooperation and reflection. The pedagogical potential of project activities as a tool for integrating theoretical knowledge and practical experience, which contributes to the formation of professional skills, the development of critical thinking, creativity, communicative and organizational skills, is revealed. The main forms of implementing project activities in vocational education are outlined, in particular the implementation of educational, research, social and innovative projects. The possibilities of using digital technologies and online tools for organizing project work, planning stages of activity, team interaction and presentation of results are shown. Particular attention is paid to the practical experience of implementing project learning in the educational process of training applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty A5 Professional Education (Digital Technologies). Examples of educational tasks that involve the use of digital services for planning, implementing and presenting educational projects are given. It is substantiated that the use of project activity in the educational process contributes to increasing the effectiveness of professional training, forming experience of teamwork, developing research and design skills of education applicants, as well as preparing future specialists to solve professional tasks in a modern digital environment.
